Our Core Beliefs
There are 3 core beliefs that guide our work:
The Healing Power of Yagé
We believe that Yagé and its ancestral culture holds the power to heal humanity.
Protection of Culture
In order for Yagé to reach more people in the world, we must ensure that the original carriers and elders of the medine’s traditions are protected, connected, and rooted to their culture.
Sustainable Cultivation
We have a responsibility to cultivate and plant ancestral botanicals sustainably, ensuring that as the medicine reaches more people, it is done so regeneratively.

The Problem
There are significant challenges that threaten the Yagé tradition and its keepers.
Overharvesting of Yagé
With the globalization of plant medicines in the last decade, comes a significant risk to the future of Ayahuasca (Yagé) and other visionary plants. As the interest in visionary plants grows, the pressure on the ecosystems where these plants are cultivated grows as well. This has lead to overharvesting, under-cultivation, and lack of regulation when it comes to maintaining the sacredness required when planting and harvesting this type of healing medicine. Without immediate action, this medicine may face threats of harmful monetization and possible extinction.
Lack of preservation of knowledge of medicinal plant species
Every year, we lose more elders of the culture, and with them, their vast wisdom of medicinal plants is also lost.
Environmental Threats
Mining and oil industries encroaching on indigenous territories endanger vital ecosystems. Pollution and exploitation jeopardize not just the land and its resources but the very essence of our culture.
Cultural Erosion
Indigenous Tribes throughout the world have been under constant threat and persecution for hundreds of years due to colonization, slavery, outside disease, evangelization, and now in modern day, armed groups, drug cartels, mining, logging, and oil drilling companies. The loss of identity, language, and culture is an ongoing crisis that demands urgent attention.
The Solution
Our approach
We are dedicated to a holistic approach that honors both the land and its people.
1. People Centered Initiatives
We prioritize community needs through emergency funds, economic growth initiatives, and programs that promote health and food sovereignty.
2. Safeguarding Ancestral Healing Plants
We champion land stewardship through initiatives focused on medicinal plant cultivation and botanical restoration, ensuring the survival of our healing traditions.
3. Preserving & Nourishing the Culture of Yagé
Our work encompasses language revitalization, music initiatives, and the care of wisdom keepers, alongside the development of ceremonial malokas and essential infrastructure
