Health Brigades | 2021-2024
Over the course of the years, we have done 4 health brigades. In the native communities, health issues are increasingly prevalent due to pollution from the outside world. We are seeing a surge in issues such as malnutrition, diabetes, liver and kidney diseases, cardiovascular issues, anemia, pulmonary disease, parasites, and the list goes on. These mobile clinics have provided natural healthcare to each community, while also imparting health education and awareness to further reclaim their own self-care.

Bathroom Infrastructure Project For Ingano School | 2024
We supported an Ingano School in Putumayo of over 40 children who had no toilet at their school! We were able to build them washroom facilities. It was incredibly rewarding and humbling to see the happy faces of sweet, innocent children, thanking us for their new bathroom!

Musical Roots Recovery Project | 2024
Servicing the Ingano community of Cundaguá, we put 30 students through a 12-month musical enrichment program. They received their instruments, were given a very thorough introduction to each instrument, proper care, and an in-depth overview of traditional different ancestral melodies and Ingano techniques. Focusing on proper musical warm-up techniques, breath orientation, correct posture and positioning, and rhythm, the children were able to connect with the sacred sounds of their lineage. This project was well received and such an honor to bring to life.

Emergency Relief Funding
Every year, we set aside a portion of our funds for individual families in need. Over the years, we have been able to help dozens of indigenous families in crisis. Because most indigenous people in Putumayo do not have health insurance or any form of emergency savings, when a health emergency comes, they have no reserve to support themselves through treatment. In 2024, we supported Taita Humberto. Abuelo Humberto Piaguaje is from the Siona and plays a crucial role in the Yagé communities of Putumayo. Following a stroke, he has needed various medical treatments, hospitalization, and physical therapy.

Joyful Holidays | 2023 - 2024
We donated books, clothes, and Christmas presents to 1500 indigenous children from the Inga, Siona, Kamentsa, and Cofan communities. For most of these families, the parents struggle to meet the basic needs of their children, let alone be able to buy them Christmas presents. This small act of kindness made a big difference for these families.
